Sandy, Tour Designer
Sandy flew for Qantas for 28 years, and Africa was always her favourite — Zimbabwe first, before the end of apartheid, then South Africa, commuting from Harare between flights. When she had run out of friends and family to take on safari, she retired from Qantas and started Sandy's Safaris. Ask how many times she has been, and the honest answer is: no idea.
Who we work with
What makes a trip run is not the size of the team here — it is the people on the ground: the hotels and safari lodges we book year after year, the field guides we ask for by name, and the transfer companies that have never left a client standing. Those relationships are the product. They are why a booking made through us gets the room, the guide and the welcome that a form on a website does not.
